Awards & Scholarships

Student of the Year Award and Scholarship

This award is presented to the student who has shown spirit, a positive attitude in class, commitment and excellent achievement in all areas of dance. The student will receive a $500.00 Scholarship towards the following year’s tuition and a plaque with his/her picture will be displayed in the studio.

Attendance Awards

Dancers with outstanding attendance throughout the year will receive special recognition during the Spring Concert.

Achievement Awards

At the end of the year, each teacher chooses a student who has demonstrated committment, respect, and an eagerness to learn. These students will receive a $100 Scholarship for the following Dance Season.

Students of the Month

Valley Dance Theatre recognizes our students throughout the year by featuring our valley dance theatre Students of the Month.

The student chosen will have good attendance, be prepared for class, have respect for the teacher, their peers and classroom rules, a positive attitude and show improvement throughout the month. Each “VDT Student of the Month” will be recognized in class and on the website.
